Map / Directions From the city centre the hotel is situated half way down the High Street opposite St Mary s Church (the University Church) and Catte Street. The hotel is surrounded by some of Oxford s oldest University colleges, good shops, museums and pubs and directly across the road from the famous Radcliffe Camera and Bodleian Library. To locate the Old Bank s car park, drive into the city centre via Magdalen Bridge. Once in the High Street, turn left at the Eastgate Hotel into Merton Street. Proceed along the cobbled road, past Merton College and take the next turning to the right, which is Magpie Lane. Drive up to the old-fashioned lamp post and the parking is on your right. Please note that parking is free for hotel residents. Directions from London/M40 Exit M40 at junction 8 (A40 Oxford). After 5 miles go straight on at the Headington roundabout (where McDonald s will be on your left) following signs to the City Centre. Follow this road all the way through Headington until you reach a roundabout (approximately 3 miles). Turn right at the roundabout following signs to the City Centre. Go over the Magdalen Bridge , stay in the left hand lane, go through the traffic lights and turn left into Merton Street immediately after the Eastgate Hotel/Merton Bar. Follow Merton Street around until you reach the end of the cobbled stones. Turn right into Magpie Lane. Go right to the top and turn right into the hotel car park through some black gates. The barrier will rise automatically. Directions from the West/A420 You will reach oxford at the Botley interchange. To avoid the city centre s traffic restrictions turn right onto to the dual carriageway A34 south. Exit the A34 after 2.5 miles following signs to Cowley/Iffley and Football Carry straight over the first roundabout ignoring signs to City Centre. Take first exit at next roundabout where Sainsburys is across the road on the right. Take the first left off the next roundabout onto the Iffley Road signposted City Centre. Follow this road into Oxford. When you reach a roundabout follow the signs for the City Centre. Go over the Magdalen Bridge , stay in the left hand lane, go through the traffic lights and turn left into Merton Street immediately after the Eastgate Hotel/Merton Bar. Follow Merton Street around until you reach the end of the cobbled stones. Turn right into Magpie Lane. Go right to the top and turn right into the hotel car park through some black gates. Directions from the Magdalen Bridge Having crossed Magdalen Bridge from St Clements, stay in the left hand lane, go through the traffic lights and turn left into Merton Street immediately after the Eastgate Hotel/Merton bar. Follow Merton Street around until you reach the end of the cobbled stones. Turn right into Magpie Lane. Go right to the top and turn right into the hotel car park through some black gates. The barrier will rise automatically. Directions from the North M40/A34/A44 You will reach Oxford at the Peartree interchange to avoid traffic restrictions in the City Centre join the ringroad (A40) and follow signs to London. At the Headington roundabout, with McDonald s on the opposite side of the roundabout, take the third exit following signs to Headington and City Centre Follow this road all the way through Headington until you reach a roundabout (approximately 3 miles) Turn right at the roundabout following signs to the City Centre.
